"We'll continue keeping you up to date on our progress through things like our Twitch streams and Desktop Tuesday blog posts. This mod will focuses mostly on headless server mode while enhancing some multiplayer capabilities. More details on headless mode will be put in later. Stonehearth is a game about exploration and survival in an epic fantasy setting. Headless server mode works with the capability to save the game. Hey everyone Today, the Stonehearth team is proud to announce the arrival of Stonehearth ACE, the Authorized Community Expansion (Pre-Release version 0.9). Your job is to help a small group of settlers survive and carve out a place for themselves in a hostile land. Youll need to establish a food supply, build shelter, defend your people, and find a way to grow and expand, facing challenges at every step. However, it leads to crashes sometimes when reloading the save. They want to get everything working properly in singleplayer before adding multiplayer so they are not having to fix 2 versions of the game every time a bug pops up in development. This is still a work in progress project, but I figured since I’m tossing it on the workshop, I’ll just make a post about it. P1 (me) hosted a game, P2 (gf and brand new to sh) joins via steam invite - we literally are sitting next to each other on the couch. Ignore the buildings with x’s as those are buildings I’ve placed but haven’t finished editing or started to build yet.

The circles are areas where a building is finished but hearthlings refuse to place certain items even though I have them. Animals or Critters are entities which spawn naturally in every biome. Everything works well enough, P1 saves game and disconnects, P2 is kicked to main menu.

Domesticated critters are the province of the Shepherd, who gathers and looks after them. Areas can be designated as a pasture (Default Shortcut: Shift + P) which is only accessible after promoting a Trapper to a Shepherd. Each area can be assigned a certain type of domesticated critter. ~10 hours later, sit down to play again and pick town back up. After P2 tries to build some tunnel doors for her mole farm, she notices her carpenter isn’t performing any work. The Character window states an activity of “Away From Town”. I think you can modify stats through the in-game console (activated by pressing Ctrl+C), though I don’t know the command myself. Clicking on any other character in the character window results in focusing on that character… except the carpenter.īoth P1 and P2 look for the character in game… it does not exist. I would suggest not using invalid stats (less than 1 or greater than 6) as it can cause some weird things to happen. P2 disconnects and P1 sends another invite. The moment the Poyo Starts spinning on P2 load screen, P1 can see all of P2’s characters INCLUDING THE CARPENTER and P2’s mouse. The moment P2 can see her town (mole tunnels) the carpenter vanishes. No, everyone build on his own and help each other out with fights or resources, to bad the lua is still bugged and the game dosnt run that well if the players have to many heartlings.Įventually the carpenter gets really sad and starts to starve to death. Hearthlings will stop working all at once/idle for no reason. Telling the carpenter to change back to worker doesn’t cause the carpenter to “drop” the saw or change jobs. (Auto-save can cause desynchronization on multiplayer if the game stress is already.
